What is gastroscope tissue embedding cassettes?
The gastroscope is a hollow, cylindrical tube fitted with special lenses and lights. The newer types of gastroscope are made of glass fiber (fiberscope) which is more flexible. Each glass fiber reflects light and creates a mirror effect, making it possible to “go around corners,” and facilitating visualization of the curvature of the stomach.
Gastroscope Tissue Embedding cassettes, made from Acetal copolymer disposable plastic tissue cassettes are suitable for holding and identifying tissue samples in processing, embedding, and sectioning procedures.

How to use it?

| 4. Press down on lid to lock it at place.

| 5. To open, let tab wider pressing down on the center of lid with thumb. |
| 6. Remove the cover by pivoting it forward.

- Molded from a special high density polymer, these patented cassettes keep specimens safely submerged in liquid and are totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. The cassette ensures efficient fluid exchange and drainage.
- The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. They can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss.
- Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassettes. Anterior writing area is at a 45° angle to make the cassette more suitable to be used with automated cassette printers.
- Available in non-cytotoxic, non-metallic colors. Each case contains four dispenser boxes of 250 cassettes with covers assembled.
