These might include a sleeping bag, winter hats and gloves, chemical hand warmers, extra socks and a snow shovel. They might also want to consider adding a portable tent, fire starting tools and a snare wire for small animals.

When purchasing a survival kit, it is important to consider the price and level of quality. These elements will play a huge role in the overall effectiveness and value that the kit provides. It is also helpful to review the size and level of compactness of the kit, as well as the vessel or bag that it comes in. This is because the amount of gear that can fit into a container will vary widely.
